Hi everyone!
Today’s post is about another easy frozen dog treat! This treat may sound a little gross, considering, most people don’t eat fruit coconut and bacon all at the same time! However, my dog loves it and I hope your dog does too!
Ingredients:
- Coconut oil
- Your choice of dog friendly fruit (apple, blueberry, strawberry, banana etc.)
- Bacon fat, or chicken stock
Tools:
- silicon mold tray
- a spoon
- a cup
First, melt the coconut oil in the microwave. After it melts, set aside.
Put your fruit of choice in the edges or middle of the mold for each.
Then, melt chicken stock or bacon grease and stir thoroughly into the coconut. Set some chicken stock/bacon grease aside for later. If using bacon, dilute with water.
Take the coconut and chicken/bacon mix and pour into mold, leaving a 2-3 millimeter space on top. Freeze.
Take the tray out and pour the set aside grease/chicken stock on top. Freeze.
Take out of tray when frozen. Serve to the good and patient doggy!
